Irakli Zarkua: Members of the National Movement curse each other, yesterday we saw disgraceful rallies

05.01.23 17:00

Members of the National Movement curse each other. In the evening we should turn on the TV and listen to their statements as entertainment. As for Vashadze, he had 4 people in the party and now he has only 2 left, said Irakli Zarkua, a member of the parliamentary majority.

Zarkua responded to the rally held by the National Movement in several locations in Tbilisi and called it shameful. He also evaluated the statement of Sergo Chikhladze, a member of Strategy Builder, that in 2023 the opposition should have a unified action plan, the goal of which will be to "remove the "Russian Dream" from power".

"Yesterday, the National Movement divided their one-hundred-man "army" into several fronts, and we saw disgraceful rallies, they called each other traitors. This shows that they are not interested in that prisoner {Mikheil Saakashvili}. This is a fight for the seats in the National Movement and Kezerashvili's money. We just have to watch how they chase each other, how they curse each other, we just have to turn the TV on in the evening and listen to the statements as entertainment - they are in agony. It has always been like this, they have always thought about narrow party interests.

The National Movement has failed, and Vashadze, who had 3 or 4 people in the party, and in the end only 2 remained... I don't believe in the rallies held by this man. Vashadze is a looser, who receives funding from someone, we know well from whom, and he tries to justify this funding. And there is also that crazy "Japara", who did some measurements here last year, while Mrs. Khoshtaria is financed from Russia. 15-20 people will gather again, they will deceive each other, then they will disperse again, and then they will gather again. I would recommend Vashadze that if he has something to say, he should use the parliament and join the implementation of the 12-point plan," said Zarkua.
