Part of the National Movement will hold rallies in support of Mikheil Saakashvili in other cities of Georgia apart from Tbilisi, which Levan Khabeishvili and his associates will not join.
Giorgi Pataraia calls Khabeishvili's announcement that he will only participate in rallies planned with the Governmental Administration and Shekvetili "regretful and surprising".
According to Pataraia, tomorrow, at 18:00, rallies are planned in Tbilisi - near the Peace Bridge, as well as in Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Shekvetili, and probably in Rustavi and Telavi as well.
Accordingly, the mentioned two parts of the party will together participate only in the rally in front of Bidzina Ivanishvili’s house in Shekvetili.
"Levan's statement is a bit surprising and regretful, because the life of President Saakashvili is the issue that unites our members and supporters. Unfortunately, Levan's statement, on the contrary, splits supporters. I am disappointed by his statement. When Levan announced the rally at the Georgian Dream office a few days ago, all members of the party joined it, because it was about the life of President Saakashvili. Our position is very clear. The locations where the rallies will be held were announced a several days ago. These are: Peace Bridge in Tbilisi, as well as Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi and Shekvetili - Bidzina Ivanishvili's house.
People who talk about unity use the issue of President Saakashvili's life for division. This is surprising and sad", said Giorgi Pataraia.
