According to the lawyer, Mikheil Saakashvili sent a congratulatory letter to Ilia II

According to Ilia Lomia, the lawyer of the third president of Georgia, they will agree to conduct the examination if the samples are sent abroad and their own expert is involved in the process.

 

"The Samkharauli Forensic Bureau will not be able to conduct an examination on nail and hair samples. Therefore, our position was that such investigations should be conducted abroad with the participation of our specialist, if the Investigative Service will conduct such investigations," said Lomia.

 

According to him, Mikheil Saakashvili sent a pre-Christmas greeting card to the Patriarch of Georgia.

 

"He addressed Patriarch Ilia II with a letter, congratulating him on the coming Christmas and New Year. I don't know the content of the letter, but he sent a greeting card. Regarding the pardon, he did not state such a thing", noted Lomia.

 

According to the lawyer, the health condition of the former president is unchanged.

 

"His condition is unchanged, he feels sick, as always, it is difficult for him to move, he has a high temperature, and he also cannot take food," says Lomia.
