Nukri Kalashnikov, illegally detained by Russian occupation forces, has been released

Nukri Kalashnikov, who was illegally detained by the Russian occupation forces in June of this year, is free and is in the territory controlled by the central government. Information about the above was disseminated by the State Security Service.

 

As stated in the information disseminated by the agency, both the hotline mechanism and other tools at the disposal of the central government were actively used for the immediate release of the illegally detained Georgian citizen.

 

"The issue of Nukri Kalashnikov's release from illegal imprisonment was regularly discussed within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism format, and the information was provided to the co-chairs of the Geneva international discussions and international partners", reads the statement released by the State Security Service.
