We do not differentiate between tourists based on their nationality, everyone should remember this, Mamuka Mdinaradze, one of the leaders of Georgian Dream, said when assessing the report published by Transparency International-Georgia, according to which, compared to previous years, Georgia's economic dependence on Russia is increasing.

As he told reporters, there is no evidence that the sanctions against Russia are being circumvented.

"The number of tourists is not alarming, there are just tourists. They are Russians, Ukrainians, representatives of former Soviet countries and Europe as well, and that is very good. Many tourists are good. We do not differentiate between tourists based on their nationality, everyone should remember that.

Second, they really want tourism to fail, the economy to fail, etc. We have a clear position regarding sanctions - Georgia will never become the so-called black hole mentioned by my colleague, one of the leaders of the National Movement, and some representatives of the Ukrainian Government. Nobody should insult Georgia by calling it a "black hole". We asked for proof a thousand times and we could not hear any real statement. There is no evidence, they cannot provide such evidence. Georgia is not a "black hole" and never will be. Maybe some people have the desire to hit the Government of Georgia. They want to blacken Georgia because they want to blacken the Government of Georgia, but they will never be able to provide a proof", said Mdinaradze.
