All the statements of Arestovych are statements of a political adventurer, Irakli Kadagishvili, Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules, told journalists, responding to the statement of the Advisor to the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych.

According to him, Georgia "does not intend to act according to Arestovych's provocative statements". Kadagishvili says Georgia will restore its territorial integrity only through peaceful means, and this is Georgia's international obligation.

"His statements are aimed only at getting as many countries as possible hit by Russian aggression. His statements that we have a chance to launch hostilities and return the occupied territories of Georgia mean that we should instigate Russian aggression against ourselves. Therefore, these are provocative statements," Kadagishvili said.

For information, according to Oleksiy Arestovych, the positions of the Georgian Government are viewed with concern. He noted that he is voicing his personal, unofficial position regarding the Georgian Government.

"First of all, this is a historic opportunity to take back Abkhazia and 'South Ossetia.' There were no Russian troops left, all were withdrawn and secondly, they would receive the support of the whole world and Ukraine. Not only are they not doing this, but they are additionally trying to justify Russia's positions and actions. This is a very unfriendly step towards Ukraine, towards our common cause, because we are fighting here not only for our freedom, but also for your freedom," Arestovych said.
