Natia Mezvrishvili: In such a crisis, when the country is facing security risks, I do not consider expedient the change, the resignation of the Government and Prime Minister

Natia Mezvrishvili, one of the leaders of the party For Georgia, says that she does not consider expedient the resignation of the Government in such a crisis, when the country is facing security risks. This is how she answered the journalist's question, whether public dissatisfaction will become the basis for the resignation of Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.

"Although we have a very bad Government, in such a crisis, when the country is facing security risks, I do not consider expedient the change, the resignation of the Government and Prime Minister, however, the reaction of the public is natural. The statements made by Irakli Gharibashvili and the chairman of the party, blaming Ukraine for war, the statements that were only in the interest of the aggressor country, were alienating us more and more from the West. At the same time, we see a pro-Western and pro-European choice of Georgian citizens that has not changed. There is no agreement between the citizens and the Prime Minister, and this dissatisfaction is a natural result of all this," Mezvrishvili said.
