What should we do, I do not understand what can we do, Irakli Kadagishvili, Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules, responds to the legislative initiative of Lelo.

 

Kadagishvili believes that the symbols of propaganda of Russian aggressive policy are not used in Georgia.

 

"There are international brands where Z and V are used in one way or another, so I do not know how to ban them. In general, there is no propaganda in Georgia. One of the writers said that "Father of a Soldier" is also part of the propaganda, should we ban "Father of a Soldier"? "Georgievsky ribbon" or any other sign that is a sign of propaganda of Russian aggression is not used here.

If we go like this, then we should ban "Giorgi Saakadze" as well, because it mentions Russia and it was shot during the Soviet period; we should also ban "Father of a Soldier". I think it is more of a campaign," Kadagishvili said.

 

For the record, Lelo initiated a bill which prohibits the use of symbols of Russia's aggressive policy, in particular, the ribbon of Saint George, as well as the symbols Z and V.
