According to him, the goal of the National Movement is to involve Georgia in the military conflict.

"I think that the delegation is perfectly organized, it is ideal that this visit is multi-party and, consequently, solidarity will be expressed to the Ukrainian people in a multi-party format, and at the same time, it is very good that a representative of the National Movement will not be in the delegation. It is very logical, significant and symbolic as well. The National Movement, which is a "war party" should not be represented together with the Speaker of Parliament - this is absolutely logical. The National Movement has been left alone. All political groups are going to Ukraine together with the Georgian Dream, Shalva Papuashvili. Once again, everything has been lustrated - the "war party", of course, should not be on board and they are not, which is very symbolic, significant and good. Their key interest is to open a second front in Georgia and their participation in the delegation would contradict this. They want to continue the rhetoric and actions aimed at involving Georgia in the military conflict, therefore, it was no longer in their interests to visit Ukraine as part of this visit. Therefore, this is populism and it is in their interest to somehow involve Georgia in the military conflict," Kobakhidze said.
