"I do not welcome a visit to Ukraine together with the Russian party Georgian Dream and Shalva Papuashvili, who first said he was ill and now says he is healthy and will go to Bucha," said Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the United National Movement faction.

 

At the same time, as Khabeishvili noted, the above is his persons opinion, while the decision to leave within the parliamentary delegation will be made by the party.

 

“The most tragic is the position of the Russian party Georgian Dream, which made the issue of leaving for Ukraine a matter of gossip. Moreover, they are calling on Ukraine to dismiss officials, it turns out that they do not like Davit Arakhamia and Gia Lortkipanidze, who are fighting against the Russian spies there.

 

As for the National Movement party, if anyone has been fighting and standing by the Ukrainians since the beginning of the war, it was the Georgian people, including the National Movement. Our parliamentary delegation arrived in Kyiv during the war, including Khatia Dekanoidze, Chairwoman of the faction, Petre Tsiskarishvili, Secretary General of the party, Davit Khajishvili, Member of Parliament. Gia Baramidze has been in Ukraine since the beginning of the war.

Many of our teammates are on the front line. Obviously, Ukraine has the full support from the United National Movement," Levan Khabeishvili said.
