PM to visit new school building in Jandara village

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited a new public school in Jandara village, Marneuli Municipality, on Tuesday.

 

Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava and State Representative in Kvemo Kartli region Shota Rekhviashvili accompanied the PM.


The Georgian government financed the construction of the school that was completed several months ago. The Azerbaijani-language school is designed for up to 300 pupils. The school building complies with modern standards and has outdoor and indoor sports fields, a library, lab and classrooms.

 

Sixty-four newly built and sixty-four fully rehabilitated public schools will open their doors to schoolchildren in the new 2021-2022 academic year.
