So-called Foreign Ministry: The Russian military presence in the Republic of Abkhazia, which bothered Vladimir Zelensky, is regulated by the bilateral agreements and does not concern the territory of Georgia, especially Ukraine

The Russian military presence in the Republic of Abkhazia, which bothered Vladimir Zelensky, is regulated by the bilateral agreements between Abkhazia and Russia, does not contradict international law and does not concern the territory of Georgia, especially Ukraine, - reads the statement of the so-called Foreign Ministry of occupied Abkhazia, which was released in response to Vladimir Zelensky's visit to the occupation line and his statement regarding the occupied territories.

According to them, what the Ukrainian President had in mind when he spoke about human rights violations in Abkhazia remains a mystery.

"Zelensky's openly provocative policy towards the Donbas Republic, which became particularly apparent this spring, when Kiev deliberately attempted to provoke hostilities, clearly shows Zelensky's team's approach to conflict resolution," the so-called Ministry said.

According to them, attempts to use such tactics in relation to Abkhazia "are unacceptable and will be strictly responded."

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia reminds the leaders of Ukraine and Georgia that placing a bet on the confrontation has no chance of success, there is no prospect of reviewing the agreements reached and blocking coordinated decisions. Until they do not stop thinking about revenge and do not accept the existing political reality, it will be impossible to start the process of full-scale resolution," the "Ministry" said.

According to them, "all other political maneuvers" are nothing but attempts to avoid solving the problem.
