"What the 4-member delegation of the Georgian opposition did about Euronest is called treason and nothing else," Sozar Subari, Chairman of the People's Power party, told reporters.
According to Subari this is a direct obstacle to Georgia's European integration.
“What the Georgian opposition, a 4-person delegation, did in relation to Euronest is called treason and nothing else. This is an attempt to directly hinder Georgia's path to European integration, which, of course, will be unsuccessful. As unsuccessful as they were in preventing Georgia from receiving candidate status.
Did they know about this? - If we trust anyone in this country, it is Maka Botchorishvili in this Parliament, who, of course, always speaks only the truth. Maka Botchorishvili said that she personally briefed all the Georgian opposition members, it was uploaded to the corresponding website of the Euronest, therefore it is clear that everyone knew. When our opposition MPs said that they did not know, they lied. They said they were going to make corrections, and if they hadn't read it and if they didn't know it had been uploaded, what were they going to correct? That is, it is clear from this that they are telling lies and why did they not sign? - Because they wanted to damage Georgia.
Why didn't the Georgian delegation ensure to have support from others? They had the consent of the parliamentarians of Ukraine that they would sign it, but unfortunately they did not sign at the last minute, but they would not have needed the vote of the Ukrainians if 2 of the 4 Georgian opposition members had signed the very simple text.
Nothing will be harmed by this, nor will Georgia's European integration be slowed down, they have just revealed their treacherous nature once again", said Sozar Subari.
