PM names stages of easing restrictions and opening up economy

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has named the stages of easing the restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency and opening up the economy.

 

According to the Prime Minister, the first stage will start from April 27 and it will be fully allowed to drive cars. In addition, the operation of taxis, online shopping - wholesale and retail, delivery of any product, and operation of open agrarian markets will be fully allowed.

 

The second phase is expected to begin in two weeks and will apply to the construction sector, construction supervision, production of construction materials, car wash and auto-service facilities, computer and home appliance repairs, and functioning of recreation areas.

 

At the third stage, retail and wholesale stores will be opened, apart from malls. In addition, restrictions will be lifted on all types of open markets, all types of production, and publishing activities.

 

The fourth stage will apply to malls, open restaurants, and on-site food facilities, all types of financial services, beauty salons, and aesthetic medicine facilities.

 

The fourth stage will apply to closed markets, all types of on-site restaurants/catering facilities.

 

Entertaining, sports-recreational, creative activities, gambling, hotels, educational institutions, and all other activities will be opened (in non-remote mode) at the sixth stage.
