We have the resources to handle the coronavirus since it has the typical symptoms of influenza viruses and the most important thing is to timely hospitalize the patient, Georgia’s Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said on Monday.

According to the minister, a reply from Germany will be announced tomorrow to know whether the virus is confirmed in three patients, who are kept in the infectious hospital.

“Preventive measures have been being taken on border zones for more than a week and all the citizens, who are potentially infected with coronavirus, are tested there. It’s because of these preventive measures Georgia remains in the green zone for the spread of coronavirus. We, of course, have the resources to handle the coronavirus, since it has the typical symptoms of influenza viruses and the most important thing is to timely hospitalize the patient,” Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
