1,200-student dormitory to be built on Tbilisi State Medical University campus

A 1,200-student dormitory will be built on the campus of Tbilisi State Medical University, for which the medical university has already announced an auction to sell the land for this purpose, announced the Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance.

 

A land area of 10,014 square meters will be sold at auction, the buyer will have building rights for 49 years.

 

The starting price of the land is 75,000 GEL ($26.07/€23.52).

 

According to the auction conditions, after 49 years the land with the buildings and infrastructure will be given to the Tbilisi State Medical University for free.

 

The expected cost of the dormitory is $16,950,000. The initial price for a student to live there will be $150.

 

The auction will end on February 1, 2020.
