Youth social entrepreneurship support project kicks off

Registration for the youth social entrepreneurship support project has kicked off, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze at today’s municipal government meeting.

 

The project has been implemented at the initiative of the Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Municipal Service since 2022, followed by funding many projects and initiatives.

 

“The program envisages the financial support of social enterprises founded by young people as non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities and the implementation of projects tailored to the business model. The program has a social goal on the one hand and an economic goal on the other, serving to receive income and socio-economic empowerment of young people,” Kaladze said.

 

Tbilisi Mayor added that small businesses, labs, creative studios, and workshops would be financed within the framework of the project up to GEL 50,000. The deadline for applications is May 15.
