Georgia still holds advanced positions in the world rankings. In the 2023 index of economic freedom, Georgia is on the 35th place, ahead of 11 member states of the European Union and all the candidate countries, - Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili wrote on the social network.

 

As the Chairman of the Parliament notes, according to the report, along with other parameters, Georgia has a higher result than the world average in terms of efficiency of justice.

 

"Georgia still holds advanced positions in the world rankings. In the 2023 index of economic freedom, Georgia is on the 35th place, ahead of 11 member states of the European Union and all the candidate countries.

This study, as well as the final evaluations of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova published by the European Commission in January, once again show how unfair it was to refuse to grant candidate status to Georgia," Papuashvili wrote.
