Did you see what Devi Chankvetadze, an MP from the National Movement, called the defense forces during my speech in the Parliament? Did you see Saba Buadze? These people don't know the name of our army. Are they now interested in the fate of our soldiers? These people are only interested in organizing destruction against our state", Defence Minister Juansher Buchuladze told journalists.
With the above, the Minister responded to the TV story aired on the Main Channel, according to which, the occupation regime allegedly has full access to the data of Mikheil Kamkhadze, a Georgian soldier fighting in Ukraine, which should have been kept in the Ministry of Defence.
As the Minister explained, "they should be careful when organizing such a provocation".
"We issued a statement. Although the files of former military personnel are not stored in the Ministry of Defence, we, the military police, have started to examine the case in order to insure against similar risks. When Irakli Gharibashvili was a minister, we closed information on the state of health of soldiers and so on. We know the importance of soldiers' personal information. In my opinion, this campaign is provoked by our opposition media.
When you make such a provocation, you have to be careful. Do not touch our soldiers, heroes. This is an organized provocation against the state.
You invite people to talk shows, "military experts", pretending to be politicians, who do not know that our army is called the Defence Forces, not the Armed Forces. It's been 5 years since that changed. Did you see what Devi Chankvetadze, an MP from the National Movement, called the defense forces during my speech in the Parliament? Did you see Saba Buadze? These people don't know the name of our army. Are they now interested in the fate of our soldiers? These people are only interested in organizing destruction against our state”, said Burchuladze.
