People, all the regions, with the support of the Government, sent 550 tons of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine, for the Ukrainians – you should appreciate this and understand this and you should calm down! - Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili told journalists.

 

According to him, Georgia helps the citizens coming from Ukraine as much as possible.

 

"Georgia is in the first place among 191 countries in terms of the cargo sent to the Ukrainian people. We do our best, starting with health care and education, for all those refugees from Ukraine who have come to Georgia and live here. I would like to remind you that I myself visited the Ukrainian sector of Ukrainian children, which was created by the Minister of Education in Tbilisi and he is now going to open it in Batumi as well. We are doing our best with our budget.

These are ordinary harmful provocative questions and I ask you to think of the interests of our country. Nobody is interested in your partisan interests, unfounded interpretations. People, all the regions, with the support of the Government, sent 550 tons of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine, for the Ukrainians – you should appreciate this and understand this and you should calm down!" said the Prime Minister.
