Levan Khabeishvili: Confronted opposition is an opportunity for a Russian party in Georgia, so there should be unification around a common goal, which is new elections

MP Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the United National Movement, hopes that other opposition parties will join the fight for early elections along with the United National Movement.

As Khabeishvili told InterPressNews about the party's plan for early elections, about which, he said, the third President Mikheil Saakashvili would also speak on April 20, "a divided and confronted opposition is an opportunity for the Russian party, so there should be unification around a common goal."

"It is important to form a coalition of pro-Western opposition. A divided and confronted opposition is an opportunity for criminal governance and the Russian party. Therefore, when we talk about new elections, which should ensure the defeat of the Georgian Dream, be it the opposition or the civil sector, everyone should unite around a common goal, which is returning power to the Georgian people and holding peaceful, open, transparent elections," said Levan Khabeishvili.

According to Levan Khabeishvili, the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, will talk about the plan on how to call early elections in the country tomorrow, on April 20.
