Levan Ioseliani, a representative of the "Citizens" party, becomes the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament

Parliament elected Levan Ioseliani, a representative of the "Citizens" Party, as the Vice-Speaker with 87 votes.

 

Ioseliani will hold the position of Vice-Speaker of Parliament from opposition quota.

 

In addition, the parliament elected MP Avtandil Enukidze for another post of Vice-Speaker belonging to the opposition quota.

 

For reference, in order to allow individual MPs with the status of opposition to hold parliamentary posts, the ruling team made special changes in the regulations, which apply only to the parliament of the tenth convocation.
