According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, the protests really played a role in the spread of the virus. As Tikaradze stated after the session of the Interagency Coordination Council, many countries, much stronger than Georgia, had the post-elections effect


"As for the rallies, we see the facts and it gives Maia Tskitishvili and me the right to allege that the rallies played a role in the spread of the virus. This is not just our opinion. Many countries, much stronger than Georgia, had the post-elections effect. We also have this effect," Tikaradze said.
