Out of 1500 schools inspected so far, 81 schools do not meet the requirements for coronavirus prevention

According to Beka Peradze, the head of the Labor Inspection Department, out of 1,500 schools inspected so far, 81 schools do not meet the requirements developed by the Ministry of Health for the prevention of coronavirus.

 

In particular, according to yesterday's data, out of 1,500 schools inspected, only 614 schools were allowed to continue their learning process at this stage.

 

"Inspection of schools continues. As of today, about 1,500 schools have been inspected, out of which we have issued licenses to 614 schools, 81 have not met the requirements, the rest are in the process of inspection and we are waiting for certain documentation to make a relevant decision. We have also inspected more than 10 universities, from which each of them has been issued a permit and the process continues", - stated Beka Peradze.

 

For the record, the schools start the learning process with a special protocol developed due to the pandemic. According to the regulations developed by the Ministries of Education and Health, a number of recommendations are required to be followed by schools and teachers, as well as students and parents.
