President Zurabishvili had phone call with Polish counterpart

A telephone conversation has been held between the Presidents of Georgia and Poland, the Administration of President of Georgia reported on Monday. The phone call was reportedly made upon the initiative of Andrzej Duda.

 

Speaking about the ongoing processes in the country, the President of Poland promised to stand by Georgia. He also noted that Poland is a friend of Georgia.

 

The President said that the situation is going to be calm and the ruling party wants to meet the protest rally in connection with the change of the electoral system.

 

The President of Georgia thanked the Polish counterpart for its support on the path of the country's European integration. At the end of the conversation Salome Zurabishvili expressed hope that many Polish tourists will visit Georgia.
