Weather conditions to turn to worse

Weather conditions will turn to the worse starting today in Georgia. It will be raining across the country’s whole territory, snow is expected in the mountainous regions with dense fog and snow-storm.

 

According to the National Environment Agency, storm in the magnitude 4-5 is prognosticated at the Black Sea. The air temperature will drop on February 8-10.

 

The Environment Agency warns that precipitation may cause the formation of avalanches in the highly-elevated areas and activation of land sliding processes.

 

Traffic movement restrictions will be imposed at certain road sections due to heavy snow.
