03.02.20 11:20

The government of Georgia plans to set up DNA databank. The draft law will be submitted to the Parliament.

The authorities say the creation of DNA database helps to identify individuals, prevent crimes, and fight effectively against it.

“The legislative package envisages the introduction of international standards and modern approaches in the context of the creation of a DNA databank,” the government stressed.
