United Airports plans direct flights between Tbilisi and China's largest cities

Director of United Airports of Georgia, Irakli Karkashadze, met the local managers of China Southern Airlines company.

 

At the meeting, the sides discussed preparations for the summer navigation season and agreed on a future cooperation strategy to boost passenger flows between Georgia and China.

 

United Airports of Georgia plans to appoint direct flights between Tbilisi and China’s largest cities as soon as visa-free travel launches with China.

 

In 2023, 48,304 visitors from China arrived in Georgia, which is 555% more than in 2022. China Southern Airlines transported 31,258 passengers to Georgia in 2023.
