Using the topic of disability for political purposes is not allowed, and I can say unequivocally that this initiative will not prevent any project, any support, - this is how the chairman of the Human Rights Protection and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament, Rati Ionatamishvili, responded to the statement of disabled people, who called on "Georgian dream", do not accept the draft law initiated on "organization carrying out the interests of a foreign power".

 

According to Ionatamishvili, it is impossible for the society to be against transparency, especially when someone makes a positive contribution to the empowerment of disabled people.

 

"It is impossible for us to be against transparency and not support transparency. Especially if someone makes a positive contribution in any direction, including the empowerment of disabled people, any actor has no interest in making it transparent. On the contrary, it should be our common interest, and society will even thank anyone who makes a positive contribution in this regard", said Rati Ionatamishvili.
