I am very afraid that if this continues, the small parties will not be able to overcome the 5% barrier, therefore the National Movement - Victory Platform will have to win alone - I have no doubts about the victory, - Mikheil Saakashvili, the third president of Georgia, said in a video address at the court session.
He voiced the promises of the Victory Coalition in case of victory in the elections.
"I am very afraid that if this continues, the small parties will not be able to overcome the 5% barrier, therefore the National Movement - Victory Platform will have to win alone - I have no doubts about the victory.
What will happen after this victory? The first law that we will pass will be the law on pension loans. The second law will be to facilitate the return of Georgians. The third will be the creation of a business stimulation fund. This means that we will create conditions for the creation of small businesses, Georgians will not leave and those who left will return.
Peasants work on other people's land instead of their own land, and the new law will be that all state lands will be transferred to private ownership, peasants will have preferential conditions, as well as zero percent interest on agricultural loans. The next law will be amnesty...," Saakashvili said.
As the former president noted, Georgia has become a point of migration of people.
"How can there be unemployment in a country like Georgia, in a country with our geography and resources?! It is generally such an unnatural process that I do not find any logic in it, if not an artificially induced technological event. Georgia has become a point of migration of people," Saakashvili said.
In addition, Mikheil Saakashvili congratulated the Georgian national team on their victory.
"I want to start with congratulations. Due to the very difficult situation of my imprisonment, last night was one of the happiest moments of my life in recent years. Georgia showed the highest class. Our fans also showed unity, spirit of pride", said Saakashvili.
