The National Movement says directly, and others secretly, that the pressure on Salome Zurabishvili should be continued, said Shalva Papuashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.

According to the Speaker of the Parliament, Salome Zurabishvili keeps her position thanks to the National Movement.

"Actually, it's not pressure, it's a unified game. Salome Zurabishvili keeps her position thanks to the National Movement. I think that they are preparing the ground for Mikheil Saakashvili to be pardoned. This is indicated by the statements of the National Movement as well as the statements of some foreign actors. Among them, the recent resolution of the European Parliament that they are preparing the ground, to bring another farce to the Georgian people in the form of this amnesty and, in general, another additional factor in the radicalization of politics," said the Chairman of the Parliament.
