190 foreigners expelled from Georgia in 2023

The statistics of expulsion of citizens of foreign countries from Georgia is increasing every year. According to official information, in 2023, 190 foreigners were made leave the territory of the country.

 

According to the statistical data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to the number of citizens expelled from Georgia last year, Azerbaijan occupies the first place with 41 citizens. It is followed by Iran with 32 people. Also, 27 Indians, 13 Russians, 9 Egyptians, 9 Nigerians, 8 Turks, 8 Chinese, 7 Bangladeshis, 6 Jordanians, 6 Iraqis, 5 Pakistanis were made leave the country.

 

According to the document, the most expelled people belong to the age category of 16-40 years and this number is 85. In addition, 27 minors were made leave the country.

 

As for previous years, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 165 people were expelled from the country in 2022, 77 in 2021, and 49 in 2020.
