Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili at Wednesday’s briefing left the main question on her intention to pardon or not ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili unanswered.
The President said: “The answer to the main question will be given when it is given.”
Earlier in the afternoon, a group of citizens rallied outside the Georgian President’s residence urging Salome Zourabichvili not to pardon jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili. The protesters said they gathered to remind the President of Saakashvili’s crimes.
