Alexiy Arestovych: Georgia now has an absolutely pro-Russian course

23.12.22 18:00

The adviser of the administration of the president of Ukraine, Alexiy Arestovych, states that the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, is "slowly dying".

"If he dies in prison, everyone will say that they (Georgian authorities) killed him. This will become the most important factor in the internal political struggle, for provocations, mass riots, revolutions, etc.," Arestovych stated.

The Ukrainian politician believes that the Georgian Government, which does not allow Saakashvili to go abroad for treatment, is afraid of Moscow.

"The question arises: who are they afraid of?" The answer is very simple: the one whom Armenia will soon stop fearing (or is no longer afraid of)", says Arestovych.

According to him, despite the fact that the territories of Georgia are occupied, Russia has brought great trouble to the country, Georgia now has an absolutely pro-Russian course.
