23.12.22 12:20

The health condition of National Movement MP Davit Kirkitadze is stable after being transferred to the clinic. He called off his hunger strike on the advice of doctors.

As the National Movement told InterPressNews, Kirkitadze will stay in the clinic for a few more days.

"His blood pressure was 100/90. Therefore, doctors decided to take him to the clinic. Now the parameters have stabilized, although he is weak. The parameters of the echocardiogram do not allow him to continue hunger strike," the party said.

Davit Kirkitadze was taken to the clinic yesterday, late at night.

Two deputies of the National Movement Ani Tsitlidze and Temur Janashia remain on hunger strike, demanding that the former president, Mikheil Saakashvili, be transferred abroad for treatment.
