Discussions will be held in the National Movement office relating to former president Mikheil Saakashvili and future plans.
The meeting will be attended by the party's secretariat, members of the parliamentary faction and probably the party's chairman candidates.
According to Roman Gotsiridze, one of the leaders of the National Movement, there has never been a different approach in the party regarding Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to him, if Mikheil Saakashvili's sentence is not postponed, the party should use all means, including rallies.
"Today, the secretariat and parliamentary faction of the party will meet, and the main topic of this meeting will be the issue of the political persecution of Mikheil Saakashvili and the steps that must be taken after the court decision is made. We all know that the court does not make a decision independently – the court will announce whatever the party and Bidzina Ivanishvili instruct them. We must be prepared for all scenarios.
Regarding Mikheil Saakashvili, there has never been a different approach in the party. We see that it has reached the extreme limit, they are playing with human life, they are manipulating, and in fact, it is possible to get a process that will lead to catastrophic results, including for the country," said Roman Gotsiridze.
