It is not only a question of national security, but it is also a question of the Government's position in the current situation, Lithuanian Ambassador to Georgia, Andrius Kalindra, said in response to a question of whether the influx of Russians into the country poses a threat to the country's security.

According to him, it is not enough to be only an observer during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"The most important thing, and this applies not only to Georgia and Lithuania, but to all countries, during this crisis, during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, is that it is not enough to be just an observer, we must act very responsibly," said the Ambassador.

According to him, the Baltic states, Poland and Finland have restricted Russians from entering their countries.

"Our position is that Russians should stay and get mobilized in Russia to fight against Putin's regime," the diplomat said.
