I want to address those people who are scared, intimidated and spoiled – admit it, talk to us and we will help you save your name and reputation, Strategy Builder leader Giorgi Vashadze said at the briefing held at the party's office in response to the TV story relating to the wiretapping and blackmail carried out by the State Security Service against political opponents.
As Vashadze mentioned, his party will help people blackmailed by the special services.
"We will help you to ensure that those criminals, high-ranking officials of the Security Service and various agencies, who intimidated you, committed an illegal act against you and blackmailed you, are held responsible.
I am not a victim, there had been many things about me too, but one thing was revealed that we, the political opposition, live honestly, and their surveillance could not reveal anything wrong in our life. This proves that the truth is on our side.
We see how the KGB of the Georgian Dream spoils young people, we see how they intimidate them and make them spy on the political opposition and opponents through various blackmail. In a country where 90% of the population cannot buy food every day, in a country where our compatriots flee to emigrate, because they cannot earn a living here, tens of millions are being spent from the state budget on illegal, unlawful actions – control and corruption of people. These ruthless criminals are destroying people’s whole lives, they are enemies of the state," said Vashadze.
