Georgian Dream's attempt to portray the attack on the West as protecting national interests is cynicism, the former ambassador of Georgia to NATO, Levan Dolidze, writes on the social network.
As Levan Dolidze explains, the steps taken by the government damage not only the prospects of the country, but also the foundation built over decades and the future of the country.
"Georgian Dream's attempt to portray the attack on the West as protecting national interests is cynicism! The dramaturgy of this whole process looks even more cynical. Sovereignty is not protected by propaganda and hiding behind the back. There is nothing Georgian in this, neither state-oriented, nor pragmatic! Our history teaches us something completely different!
The steps taken by the government harm not only the country's prospects of being able to achieve specific strategic goals, but also the foundation built over decades and the country's future.
I hope that the unconscious actors of the campaign, who are trying to believe what they are talking about, will at least think about the consequences they are leading our country to with all this," Levan Dolidze wrote on his Facebook page.
