NDI: The majority of respondents, 66%, support the visa regime with Russia, 23% oppose it

According to a survey by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the majority of respondents, 98%, have a favorable opinion of Ukrainian people, 87% - the Ukrainian government.

 

According to the survey, 47% of respondents believe that Ukraine was helped the most by the EU and EU countries, 36% say the US. 25% say Georgia has helped Ukraine the most.

 

According to the survey, 59% of respondents say they have a favorable opinion of Russian people, while 36% say unfavorable. As for the government's assessment, 85% of respondents say they have an unfavorable opinion of the Russian government, while 9% - favorable.

 

At the same time, the majority of respondents, 66%, support the introduction of a visa regime with Russia. 23% are against it.

 

For information, According to NDI, the results reflect data collected between February 3-15 and March 9-20, through telephone interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories. The February poll included 2,036 completed interviews, while the March poll included 2024 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.8 percent (February poll), and +/- 1.6 percent (March poll). Respondents were selected using the random-digit-dial method.
