The transformation of Georgia's occupied Abkhazia into "Maritime Armenia", which may be even more important to the Armenian lobby than the Republic of Armenia itself, is proceeding apace.  It became known that a multifunctional media centre in Sukhumi on the basis of the separatist so-called "Abkhazian Foreign Ministry" is preparing to launch in early spring 2022.

The Media Centre will be run by the Kremlin's main propagandist Margarita Simonyan who together with her compatriots is essentially turning separatist Abkhazia into her "fiefdom".  The media centre will be supported by the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which is known to be headed by another Armenian nationalist, Sergey Lavrov (Kalantarov).

The puppet head of the separatist "Abkhazian Foreign Ministry" Inal Ardzinba was summoned to Moscow for this purpose. Here he received instructions from Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of Russia Today TV channel, Russia Today news agency and Sputnik news agency, regarding the launch of the "media centre of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry".

More specifically, the tools for interaction between the "media centre of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry" and the Russian news agencies controlled by Simonyan and other Armenian media tycoons were discussed. It was announced that the staff of the media centre in Sukhumi would analyse the international information field, global media and social networks and conduct information campaigns "to improve the image of the Republic of Abkhazia". It is not difficult to guess what nationality will be the key personnel of the media centre and what will be their information companies.

In essence, Sukhumi is becoming the new epicentre of Armenian propaganda. The interests of the Abkhaz themselves are no longer at stake. In the plans of the new Armenian owners of the separatist territory for the time being they will be used as a "cover" for gaining full control over Abkhazia and its resources by "the most ancient people".

Naturally, with the help and under the cover of pro-Armenian propaganda of the new media centre population of Abkhazia by Armenians will become even more intense. All the more that by controlling the information space and the media representatives of the "ancient cultural people" will become complete and absolute masters of this place.
