Company Socar continues to campaign for the 2020 Football Championship. On July 25, another rebranded petrol station was opened at Tamar Mepe Avenue in Batumi.
As with other petrol stations, you will find one of the host cities in the 2020 European Championship. Visual decoration of the station contains elements characteristic of the city of Copenhagen. Colored houses, ships and narrow channels in the design of the most popular brand of Danish "Lego".
The invited guests and media representatives attended the opening of the renewed petrol station. The photographs reflecting already rebranded stations and planned projects were exhibited at the site. Levan Giorgadze, Director of "Socar Georgia Petroleum" hosted the guests at the newly opened petrol station.
Besides receiving any high quality fuel at the Copenhagen petrol station in Batumi, you will be able to charge electric motors. 2 fast and 1 normal charger installed on the station.
Copenhagen is the fifth rebranded station of "Socar". The rest 4 renovated stations will take you to Rome, Amsterdam, Budapest and Glasgow. Famous designers worked on the design.
Socar's creative campaign is related to the 2020 Football Championship. Under the initiative of UEFA, this championship is globally marked and for the first time in football history, matches will be held in 12 different countries. The company "Socar" joined the global events.
Within the framework of the campaign, 11 new petrol stations are envisaged by the main features and landmarks of the European Championship host cities: Rome, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Budapest, Copenhagen, Bilbao, Bucharest, Munich, Dublin, Baku and London. Only Petersburg is not included in the list. The company "Socar" takes into consideration the situation between the countries and refraining from presenting the Russian city in Georgia. The campaign dedicated to the 2020 Football Championship will be completed in December 2019.
"SOCAR's" Corporate Social Responsibility Platform's "5 Standard of Responsibility" one of the directions is to support young people, promoting education, healthy lifestyle and sports, including promotion of football.
