Those for sale should get sold, the sooner the party is cleared of people for whom material prosperity is above dignity, the better, - this is how one of the members of "For Georgia" Akaki Gvianidze assessed Batumi City Assembly deputy Irakli Tavdgiridze's decision to leave the party.
Gvianidze said that the party will not change its position and will continue to fight for its own values.
"Our party is united only around values, so those for sale should get sold, the sooner the party is cleared of people for whom material prosperity is above dignity, the better. We have very important plans and we are going to fulfill these plans. We are not changing positions and we are going to fight for Batumi and the people of Batumi, and most importantly, we are not going to form a coalition with either the Dream or the National Movement, it is impossible, because both parties are similar, both use those methods of maintaining and gaining the majority and power that is unacceptable to us.
Their goal is to seize power solely, and we were instructed by our voters not to allow it. We remain faithful to our ideals and we will definitely be able to ensure that no party will be able to gain a majority in the Batumi municipality", - Akaki Gvianidze said.
For information, Irakli Tavdgiridze, a member of the Batumi City Assembly and the head of the Batumi organization, left the party "For Georgia". Tavdgiridze wrote about it on the social network.
