Irakli Tavdgiridze, a member of the Batumi City Assembly and the head of the Batumi organization, left the party For Georgia. Tavdgiridze writes about it on the social network.

 

According to him, he will continue his activity in the City Assembly with the status of an independent deputy.

 

"For me, a future member of the Batumi City Assembly, it is categorically unacceptable to cooperate with the National Movement (including" Lelo) in any form, especially having a coalition with them and even consultation on the redistribution of positions! Accordingly, I am leaving the position of the head of the Batumi organization for the party "For Georgia" and I will continue working in the City Assembly as an independent deputy, at the dictation of my conscience and for the benefit of the people of Batumi!

 

No to the Nationals! No to evil! The National Movement will never be the majority in Batumi City Assembly!", - Tavdgiridze wrote on the social network.

 

For reference, the Georgian Dream has 16 members in the Batumi City Assembly, the National Movement has 15 members, and Lelo has 1.
