The Board of Trustees of TBC Bank Group is confident Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze are innocent and look forward to refuting all disputes against them, - "TBC Bank” group said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the "TBC Bank” group (TBC PLC) confirms that on July 24, following the statement of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, “TBC Bank” group Chairman Mamuka Khazaradze and Deputy Chairman Badri Japaridze decided to leave their posts. “They have made this decision in order the charges against them not have any influence on the group's activities and that they are free to continue the dispute.

Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze will try to join the Board of Trustees of TBC Bank Group after the accusations against them are refuted. It should also be noted that the Supervisory Board has immediately appointed independent director of the TBC Bank Group Nikoloz Enukidze as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board," the statement reads.
