De facto president of occupied Abkhazia meets with Patriarch of Antioch in Damascus

The de facto president of occupied Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, met with the Patriarch of Antioch in Damascus, the Patriarchate of Antioch reports.


According to the Patriarchate, the Patriarch met with "Abkhazian President Aslan Bzhania and high-level official delegations from Abkhazia and Syria."

 

The so-called delegation, led by de facto leader Aslan Bzhania, is in Syria. During the "visit", Bzhania met with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.in addition, the so-called delegation signed an "agreement" on cooperation between the ports of the "two countries" and in the field of tourism
