If the positivity rate falls below 4% in Tbilisi in the next week, of course, we should consider the opening of municipal transportand the opening of certain sectors of the economy faster, - Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the Interagency Coordination Council today.

As the head of government noted, as soon as the positivity rate in the country, city or region drops below 4%, it will be possible to accelerate the opening plan that has already been presented.

"As soon as the positivity rate in the country, city, or region falls below 4%, of course, we can accelerate the opening plan that we have already presented. For example, if the positivity rate falls below 4% in Tbilisi in the next week, of course, we should talk about the opening of municipal transport more quickly, as well as the opening of certain sectors of the economy. So, the cause-and-effect relationship is extremely important and all this should be consistent, balanced and gradual, but of course the ultimate goal is a quick recovery of the economy,” said Giorgi Gakharia.
