Today, the increase in the number recoveries gives us grounds for cautious optimism. Today, this number has exceeded 2,000, - Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated at the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council.

 

"Unfortunately, we all see that the number of infected people in the world, especially in Europe, is growing. In our country, too, the number of infected people is growing daily, although per 1 million inhabitants, compared to others, within Europe, we have more or less normal situation, however this is not a reason to calm down. Today, the increase in the number recoveries gives us grounds for cautious optimism. Today, that number has exceeded 2,000. I can emphasize once again that the process is fully manageable, the new model of clinical management works effectively, and doctors are doing their best to manage this process smoothly in the face of a large number of infected people.

 

We are pursuing our targeted strategy, but we all need to keep in mind that wearing a face mask and observing distance are critical. The more our citizens wear a face mask, the less there will be a need for targeted restrictions, we should all understand that", - stated Gakharia.
