Occupied Sokhumi imposes quarantine on the so-called City Administration

Quarantine was imposed on the so-called City Administration of Russia-occupied Sokhumi.

The head of the so-called City Administration, Beslan Eshba said the decision was made after some employees contracted the virus.

The part of employees will continue working remotely.

Occupied Abkhazia will ban weddings, sports events, as well as entertainment and exhibition events from October 5.

The occupied region reported 59 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of active cases topped 1 000.
