04.08.20 15:30

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the international observers at parliamentary elections won't have to go through quarantine.

As Gamrelidze told InterPressNews, in order to ensure an epidemiological safety in the context of international observers, different methods will be applied.

"The NCDC is part of the group which works on epidemiological safety of elections. For the time being, there's no agreed model, however, there are naturally certain perspectives and proposals. It's certain that they won't have to go through quarantine. Therefore, different methods will be applied to ensure the epidemiological safety. We're working on it, there are different options being discussed", - stated Gamkrelidze.
